Travel Vacation Secrets: Disney World

A very popular place for vacations, especially for families with children, is Disney World. It is a great fun spot to visit, but can also be stressful and expensive. The park is huge, and many things there cost a lot of momey, and these things cause stress to the most experienced of travelers. Below are some travel vacation secrets which could help.

Three hotels along the monorail line have direct access to the park, so if you have young children, or even teenagers, these would be a good choice for accommodation. They are especially convenient if you have youngsters who still take daytime naps, or for anyone who wants to take a rest from the activity and excitement of the park for a while. If you have teenagers who can be left to enjoy the park on their own, then this is another great convenience for parents, and you don't even have to drive back to the park to pick them up, because they have their own transport via the monorail.

Souvenirs can be a very expensive item if bought in the amusement park. Rather than buying expensive souvenir T shirts, a good idea is to buy cheaper ones in your home town before you go, and surprise the kids with them on your first day at Disney World. The fun of their new T shirt to go in with might make them less likely to demand souvenirs whilst there.

Another good travel vacation secret is to plan your day in the park before you go. In the early part of the day attractions which are close to the entrance are usually crowded, being the first ones people come to. So skip these and start the day with the attractions which are further away. You should go to attractions which are very popular earlier in the day too, because the crowding will get worse through the day. Queues are likely to be shorter for rides if you go during parades, which attract lots of attention.

Try to arrange to have your lunch and dinner at times which are earlier or later than most people, because the lines at eating places are likely to be shorter then and seating at less of a premium. Two o'clock, for example, could be a good time to avoid crowds and have a more enjoyable lunch.

So follow these travel vacation secrets to avoid the fatigue and stress which can go along with a trip to Disney World: choose a hotel with good park access, buy souvenirs in advance, and plan your day ahead to reduce queue time, and you should find that you have a much more enjoyable, and affordable, time.
